REC recognizes two employees for Employees of the Year in 2020

Every year REC recognizes employees who exceed in their defined job description, achieve outstanding results in certain areas and demonstrate loyalty to the Cooperative, and 2020 wasn’t any different. Since 1994, REC has honored these employees as its Employees of the Year. Beginning in 2010, REC started recognizing two employees – one from Administration and one from Operations.

Dalton Todd was named the 2020 Administrative Employee of the Year. He started in 2018 and currently serves as Operations Support. He is always willing to take on extra duties and willing to help in any department.

He graduated from Lindsay High School in 2004. He lives in Lindsay with his wife Stephanie and their son Asher and they are expecting a baby girl in February. His oldest daughter Navy lives with her mom. He enjoys spending time with his family and is looking forward to the birth of his newest daughter Riley.

"Me winning this award is more of a reflection on the company's success and culture to train me to be the best employee I can," says Todd. "I am looking forward to be able to continually growing my skills within this organization and helping in the many activities REC offers."

REC's 2020 Operations Employee of the Year, Jacob Trammell is committed to assisting where he can to best serve the members of REC and enjoys the opportunity to get out and help where is he needed.

Trammell started at REC as an intern before he became an employee in August of 2016 as the Mechanic Assistant.

He graduated from Lindsay High School in 2016 and enjoys doing cowboy stuff and working on race cars when he is not working at REC. His favorite activity he has done is helping during storm repair.

"I didn't expect to be named the Employee of Year," says Trammell. "I am thankful to be selected and considered."
