Remembering REC employee Leonard Coffee

Leonard Coffee danced his way into the hearts of many and his one of kind personality will always be remembered. Originally, he was from Elmore City, Oklahoma and graduated High School in 1981. He made his home in Lindsay with his wife Dianna and their two children Cheyenne and Carson. 


He started at REC in March of 1982 and held many positions including Groundman, District Serviceman, Member Services Representative, Energy Auditor and Manager of Safety and Loss Control and Facilities. He completed the Journeyman Lineman Program in September of 1998 and the Certified Loss Control Professional Certificate in March 2001. He has served as the past President of OAEC’s Safety and Loss Control Association and a longtime member of the National Utility Training and Safety Education Association.


His knowledge and passion for electricity will be remembered and missed.
